Ideally we would like to have 2-4 weeks notice for all celebration cakes and 1-3 months to book a wedding cake, though we understand this is not always feasible. On occasion last minute orders are able to be accommodated, so please do ask.

Cake Consultations
We offer cake tastings and consultations for wedding orders over £300 which are held in a location in London. The consultation includes a cake tasting for up to three people and you will be able to sample four cake flavour combinations of your choosing. If you are unsure about flavours we will be happy to recommend some flavours. There is a non-refundable fee of £50.00 for all consultations, which is deducted from the price of the cake on placing an order. Consultations must be paid for in advance through email. Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment we require at least 48 hours notice. During the meeting, we will discuss the design of your cake, so please bring any pictures, invitations, etc, that may help us come up with something perfect for your event.
Alternatively, cake samples can be mailed to you for you to try in the comfort of your home which are priced at £20. The flavors included in each tasting box are baker's choice and contain our most popular as well as some different flavours you may not have had before. That being said requests are also welcome. If you have a certain flavor you think you want for your wedding cake, please don't be afraid to ask.
Payment
To secure your booking we require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Full payment is required one week prior to your event.
Delivery/Collection
Delivery charges are dependent on where your event will take place. We deliver to Greater London and surrounding areas. When enquiring please know your location as this will determine if we can take your order.
Depending on your event we will arrange a time with your venue’s event co-ordinator to ensure it is set-up correctly.
Dee's Basement does not accept any responsibility once the cake has left the Dee's Basement premises (unless delivered by Dee's Basement).
